Gifting: Last Minute Mail Order Gifts for the Eco Minded.

Every year, around 11am on Christmas Eve, I vow to myself that I will be more organised next year. I’ll budget and put more effort into finding the right gifts for everyone. But it never quite works out that way. I do have a desire to let my friends know I’m thinking of them but it’s not my natural love language to gift.

That said, when I do gift I want to make sure that I’ve shown the person I see them by selecting something right and not contributing to the material item related guilt a lot of us have about the excess items in our home. It can be difficult to find an eco conscious gift for people we love that are so minded but over the years I’ve collect a list of things I would love to receive so I’m sharing them here with you! I’ve checked all of the last order times and you still have a chance to order now before the cut off.

Boho gifts from Aarven.

I first came across Aarven when in Margate and visiting their Artisans and Adventurers store - I was really taken with their boho jewellery and fair-trade homewares and textiles. I then came across them a second time when I bought some of their incense in a shop in Herefordshire and now I’m hooked. There is something for everyone on this lovely website and everything is ethical and artisanal. And to my point about incense, I’m not usually an incense fan but absolutely love their range, it’s so comforting and a delight to burn.
