Hello.

I believe there is so much nourishment to be found in humble moments. The blog is a celebration of those moments and to share how it’s possible to create soulful spaces and experiences without having to spend a lot of money or at a cost to our planet.

I hope you enjoy your time here and wholly recommend you sign up to the much loved Humblings, a meant-to-be monthly newsletter of exclusive content.

Welcome.

You found me. I’m so happy to have you here.

I’m a photographer working across wellbeing and interiors and I wanted an outlet for my own content. This blog originally started in 2014 and was named ‘Gloria’s Food’, an ode to the delicious and wholesome food my beloved late aunt and her friend used to cook for me. Over the years this blog has had various forms, with the most recent name being TIDE focusing on my travels, but I always come back to the same thing: a humble and sustainable life. Wholesome living with a whole lotta joy thrown in.

I keep myself busy at home with DIY projects, a bit of novice gardening, prepping food and then enjoy walking my dear Labrador Monty. I’m fully trained in nutrition so my focus is on nourishment and wellbeing through food, lifestyle and product/clothing choices.

I also don’t look like your typical blogger, I want to normalise having bodies like mine represented in beautiful photography and along the way I find new, sustainable brands that are cruelty free and earth friendly.

Among all of that, I talk about my relationship with money and how I’m repairing it, finding my way to financial stability in my 40’s. There’s also my ADHD diagnosis (also in my 40’s) and how I’m going about finally buying my own house.

I hope you enjoy this blog and remember, sharing is caring. Every share or comment propels me to create more content so please know I always love to hear from you. Make sure you sign up for the Humblings which is the sometimes fortnightly, sometimes monthly newsletter.

My story.

This blog is the musings and adventures of me - photographer and explorer - Emma Croman.

Life has called me to adapt throughout my years, from a rocky childhood through to a near fatal car accident that sent me on a big old journey emotionally and physically. Just when things started to settle I then had the realisation of ADHD at the age of 40.

A friend once joked that I’m ‘the queen of reinvention’ - I’m not sure about reinvention but my curious mind fuels an appetite for learning more how we evolve - as people, in our relationships, as beings that contribute to the natural state of the world.

An ex hedonist, I’ve found sobriety and the road to a healthy (ish) relationship with money. So I’m here in the hope that my shares and posts might inspire you to enjoy the nurture of considered living too.

A disclaimer: I talk about nutrition in my posts and recipes - I’m trained in Nutritional Therapy (3 year dipCNM) so while I don’t practise with clients I am qualified to speak in this field.
